Saturday night 27th December brought a joyous crowd into JahRoc Galleries for the opening night of “PERSONAL CULT OF THE LAND” by BEC JUNIPER.
The crowd enjoyed the speeches, the opening speech by DUNCAN ORD, Director General Department of Culture and the Arts, who spoke about his family connection with Bec Juniper and her father Robert Juniper in his days working in the arts industry. He also spoke positive words for the Visual Arts industry, where it is heading and the changes he can see taking place. Duncan – thank you for your words.
Artist Bec Juniper responded by talking in depth about her paintings, her method and materials used, her passion for her environment and the art of transferring that onto canvas. Also the affect she anticipates her paintings to have on the audience.
