Watch Joe Webster paint on location in the Margaret River region.
Joe Webster is JahRoc’s artist in residence for the Cabin Fever Festival. He is a British plein air artist, and recently won a grant from European Union to go anywhere in the world for a residency to expand on his experience. Lucky us – Joe Webster chose Margaret River to do this, and when he approached JahRoc Galleries to represent him we jumped at the opportunity.
Joe paints his exquisite landscapes from start to finish on location using graffiti and water-based media, which capture the effects of rain, mist, sun or hail in the textures of paint on his canvas, enhancing his play between abstract and realism.
He will be painting on location in the Margaret River region for 3 weeks from the 1st July – 20th July.
We can’t wait to see how Joe Webster captures his Margaret River experiences onto canvas.
