JahRoc Galleries are excited to be welcoming local artist Liv Vardy into the gallery this September during the 2020 Margaret River Region Open Studios (MRROS).
Liv Vardy is a local artist who creates her expressionist abstract artworks from her own home studio. She does not open her private space to the public, and with so many art lovers visiting the region during MRROS, Liv has embraced the opportunity to spend time in the gallery as JahRoc’s artist in residence to enable her to meet and chat to new and existing admirers of her work.
Make the most of this fantastic opportunity to watch Liv Vardy paint her exquisite and emotive abstract paintings in the gallery.

My latest body of work is about the connection between painting and music.
Music encourages expression. It stirs our emotions. The link between emotion and music is what I have layered into each canvas. I explore rhythm and harmony as some layers are harsh and contrasting while others are soft and reflective.
Liv Vardy
As an expressionist music allows me to delve deeply into imagination and get lost in each artwork.
